Our Bagdad operations in Arizona offers housing at a subsidized rate, a family-friendly atmosphere and numerous amenities including an aquatic center, golf course and fitness center. Located 100 miles northwest of Phoenix, Bagdad is home to the world's first commercial - scale concentrate leach processing facility, as well as one of the longest continuously operating solvent extraction/electrowinning plants in the world.  Visit the Bagdad town website (https://bagdadaztown.com/) to learn more. **What You Will Do** + Under close supervision, assists in providing technical support and advice in Metallurgical testing and analysis at assigned site. + Assists in Metallurgical studies and conducting analyses + Prepares standard reports on Metallurgical or process issues and assists in recommending appropriate action to resolve or correct issues + Assists in reviewing new or enhanced Metallurgical testing equipment or protocols + Assists in evaluating and administering contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment + Develops and maintains an understanding of applicable programs, practices and existing/proposed local, State and Federal regulations applicable to area of assignment + Performs other duties as required **What You Bring To Freeport** + Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry or related Engineering discipline + Knowledge of the basic principles and methods used in Metallurgical and processing analyses + Able to conduct research and analyze information or considerable difficulty to draw valid conclusions + Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions + Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards + Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing **What We Offer You** The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently  **$76,000-$104,000.**  This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
