This position may be eligible for annual incentive pay and contracted increases as determined by the collective bargaining agreement, and you will have the opportunity for continued salary growth. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. _ *Work Schedule*_ Tuesday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. _ *Primary Role*_ Read customer meters and perform various other functions related to customer billing and collections. Duties include the following: utilizing the electronic customer database and meter reading systems, load hand-held meter reading equipment, accurately read customer meters and transmit the reads for billing; records stopped meters, broken meters, dials, boxes, etc.; conducts minor meter repair and change-outs, as well as meter box repair; downloads and uploads meter-reading routes. May be required to take after-hours call as per the union contract. Does other similar work as called upon to perform, and any other work as necessary.
