Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Director Commercial Operations is a strategical role critical to the success of the Global Consumables business, leading the Consumables Commercial team through all elements of a transformation: diagnosis of potential opportunity; design of new ways of working; planning and project management; implementing change at the front-line.  This role has responsibility for existing and future transformational processes with deliverables that provide business insights, critical back-office operations, and compelling commercial strategies within the organization. 

The role will be a key business leader by ensuring appropriate structure for annual and strategic objectives are delivered and managed through an EBS structure of Daily Management and other lean practices.  The Sr. Director will successfully lead the development and deployment of functions including sales operations, commissions, CRM, pricing, contract administration, chargeback validations, data management, and product forecasting.  In addition to developing a plan of execution, the leader will ensure the newly implemented processes show measurable and sustained results, while managing and developing a robust team. Directly reporting to this role include the data analyst team, sr. contract/pricing analysts, and sales operations manager.  Cross functional relationships include Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Finance.

Manage, empower, and develop a high-performance Commercial Operations teamWork cross functionally to develop and implement commercial strategies to drive growth in the Global marketAlign the structure of KPIs and reporting cadence necessary to achieve business goals and operational performance in Market Share, Sales Performance, Customer Churn, and Product insightsDevelop and manage price and contracting strategy, process, and workflow to maximize price and profitabilityLead team to ensure high data integrity and develop robust reporting visualizations within reporting systemsLeverage EBS tools and methods to optimize departmental standard work and daily management of objectives

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university required.A Master’s degree highly desired in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area preferred. 10-15 years of experience in Commercial or Sales Operations; preferred to be within healthcare, medical device, or dental industry.5+ years of managing large, multi-faceted teams.Successful experience in developing and improving commercial operations KPIs.Successful experience in using financial data to drive margin improvement.Development and experience within a high-performance culture.Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changesDemonstrated ability of critical and agile thinkingData-driven and exercises sound judgment in analyzing problems from multiple perspectives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence other teams, create clarity and drive focus on complex problemsEffective in the MS Office suite.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
