Metrologist Supervisor
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems in a GMP setting. Specific Tasks: • Develop, review, and update SOPs related to metrology processes to ensure compliance with GMP/ISO 13485 standards • Perform and oversee the calibration of measurement instruments and equipment, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on metrology equipment to ensure optimal performance • Plan and schedule calibratio0n and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation • Execute and document IQ/OQ protocols for new and existing equipment to ensure they are installed and operating according to specifications • Ensure all metrology activities comply with GMP and ISO regulations and internal quality standards • Maintain accurate records of all calibration, maintenance, and qualification activities • Train personnel in calibration and maintenance of equipment, SOPs, and other aspects of metrology program Additional Skills & Qualifications: Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in metrology role within a GMP environment • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience - this can be as a lead, supervisor, or manager.
