Job Description

As Metrology & Calibration Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a qualified role in ensuring our equipment operates at the best conditions.

Performing routine calibration and maintenance of electrical and electronic measuring instruments.Strictly adhering to GMP and Quality standards throughout all processes.Successfully implementing and maintaining calibration schedules for all equipment.Determining root causes of deviations and implementing corrective actions.Working with teams from different functions to support continuous improvement initiatives.Ensuring compliance with safety laws and accurate use of PPE.

Job Requirements

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

Diploma or engineer degree in electrical, electronics, automation, or a related technical degree.Confirmed expertise in electrical systems and components of production machinery.In-depth knowledge of measurement systems and electronic instruments like scales, temperature transducers, flow meters, and pressure transducers.Familiarity with GMP and Quality standards.PES-PAV certification and alignment with safety laws.Proficiency in major software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.Extensive experience in electrical maintenance of industrial plants and machinery.Proven experience in calibration, adjustment, and intervention methods for electrical-instrumental measurement systems in an industrial environment.
