Metrology Operation Manager
**General Profile:** Manages professional employees (jobs that typically fall on the C, O, T or B/E band) and/or supervisors. Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own job family. Adapts business unit, department, site or sub-function plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business unit, department or sub-function plan; receives guidance from manager. Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues, business partners and/or customers. **Key Responsibilities** Establishes and monitors production outputs and quality through operation key results (OKR) and metric analytics, and initiates appropriate corrective action as needed and based on results. Establishes and controls project schedules, timelines. Plans and evaluates optimal resource utilization and efficiency to decrease tool idle time and queue/cycle time. Track metrology volume and establish lab capacity to meet the R&D needs of the business units. Directs, guides, monitors, and evaluates personnel to accomplish specific production goals consistent with established operational, housekeeping (6S), and safety procedures and processes. Engage in problem solving in complex situations and process improvements in streamlining work processes. Leads continuous improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods and processes to produce quality service that meet business units’ requirements in the most cost-effective manner. Identifies and pursues new technologies to improve production and cycle time, increase efficiency and resource utilization and minimize cost. Works closely with members of Senior Management to align overall operations development with business needs/opportunities. Promotes an environment of cooperation and trust. Establish team skillset matrix and develop training program and career development plan for direct report to perform their functions in a high-quality and efficient manner. Provides leadership and guidance in the areas of daily operational management, systems development, and optimization. Identifies process and quality changes designed to improve department capabilities. Drives Lean, Safety and Quality. Takes corrective action. **Other Requirements:** This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
