Join the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) division of Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Metrology Team Leader. This role involves using your leadership, service coordination, and relationship-building skills to be responsible for the metrology program, improving client satisfaction and ensuring calibration completeness through Unity Lab Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Operations: Conduct site operations per program contract and Statement of Work.Relationship Management: Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, service vendors, and Thermo Fisher staff.Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of on-site staff across multiple locations, including participation in hiring, training, and performance evaluation, adhering to the 4-I values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Calibration Management: Manage field and depot calibration equipment to ensure compliance and accuracy of incoming calibration certificates from third-party suppliers.Coordination and Communication: Serve as the central contact for calibration activities, coordinating equipment returns, and ensuring service adequacy.Documentation and Reporting: Prepare calibration data reports and other required documentation, and ensure accurate data input into the Resource Center and Indysoft databases.Problem Solving: Resolve issues through collaboration with internal customers, vendors, and management.Quality Assurance: Supervise and verify quality statistical processes or other control procedures.Meetings and Reviews: Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings, including business reviews.Data Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing customer metrics related to financials, compliance, growth, and profitability.Compliance and Inventory Management: Support compliance with regulatory guidelines and handle inventory data.Service Coordination: Coordinate service visits and vendor escorting, resolving service or billing issues as needed.Safety and Security: Carry out all Thermo Fisher and customer security and safety procedures.Travel: Travel to multiple client locations to support account needs.Post-Coverage Analysis: Provide recommendations for operational process improvements and detail corrective actions.GLP/GMP Compliance: Follow all GLP/GMP guidelines.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Previous customer service experience.Preferred experience in Life Science or Healthcare environments.Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 17025 is an asset.Experience in handling a library of assets.Shown attention to detail and document accuracy.Proven ability to work independently.Working Conditions:
