Job Description
A client in the Lakewood, CO area is looking for a Metrology Technician to join their growing team. This team member will perform duties outlined below, as part of a 12 person technician team within their Colorado Production Facility. Duties will include Complex Testing and Modification of Procedures; Maintaining and Recording protocols, procedures, and test logs; Build equipment or perform complex repairs on existing equipment; and maintain sophisticated metrological or scientific equipment. A large function of this role will be working with equipment and conducting calibration. Duties will include:
Maintaining accurate laboratory quality records and documentation.
Regulating and implementing metrologist training.
Calibration: Schedule and coordinate equipment calibration.
Calibration: Work as a liaison between the company and calibration service provider. This includes fielding questions from calibration service providers, logging and managing equipment status, and managing equipment depot.
Calibration: Proactively work with all metrology customers to ensure timely calibration resulting in limited overdue equipment and balanced monthly workflow.
Calibration: Manage all Equipment Variance Actions, including issuance, review, tracking, and closure.
Calibration: Perform weekly quality checks of calibration service provider including training, proper documentation, and procedures.
This role will be 100% onsite in Lakewood, CO. Pay Range: 85K-93K. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements
Bachelors Degree
5 years of experience calibrating scientific and/or metrological equipment
Strong Mechanical aptitude null
