Job Description
As a Metrology Technician, you will provide essential quality inspection skills to support the company in achieving optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to ensure both internal and external customer success.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, qualify, and maintain CMM programs.Operate CMMs for First Piece Inspection and Production Approval.Read drawings to determine specifications and tolerances for various components.Ensure that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified.Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings and PPAP requirements.Participate in the corrective action and preventive action processes.Participate in Gage R & R Studies.Utilize a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Essential SkillsCMM programmingExperience with FARO Arm, Polyworks, and CalypsoGD&T knowledgeProficiency with computer skills and various inspection tools1-2 years of experience, ideally 5 years in a related roleAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Romer, Calibration, and InspectionAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsin automotive, medical device, or aerospace industries is preferredPrevious extensive use of related software, similar to PolyworksWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work shift is from 7am to 4pm, though this may change slightly based on operational needs. The environment requires flexibility and a commitment to pushing parts out efficiently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
