Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Metrology Technician to join our team. This position is a front-end NIGHT shift role, working from Sunday to Tuesday and alternating Saturdays from 6 PM to 6:30 AM. The Metrology Technician will be responsible for performing activities running metrology processes to support our process tech teams. You will select the correct metrology recipe to measure the wafer appropriately and interact with the shift supervisor for tool release, shift operations, abnormal events, and development. Documenting and following standard operating procedures are required, along with a focus on quality and detail.
ResponsibilitiesLoad the wafers using instructions from process engineers or technicians to run the recipe using Metrology tools.Provide results back to Process Techs upon completion of the process.Collect data using SharePoint and send the pass down to the next shift and the Process Engineer for the next step.Track and report daily activities through verbal and written pass down.Essential SkillsExperience with Metrology tools such as KLA Tencor SP1, SP3, SP5, XRF, S100.Clean room experience.Attention to detail verified in references.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS in Chemical Engineering, or internship in semiconductor, or 1+ year experience in semiconductor tool operation / metrologyWork Environment
You will be working within the Metrology team to provide coverage for metrology tasks for the whole lab. The role involves tracking and reporting daily activities through verbal and written pass down. This is a night shift position from Sunday to Tuesday and alternating Saturdays from 6 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00
