Mfg/Ops Quality Engineer
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mfg/Ops Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Mfg/Ops Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Mfg/Ops Quality Engineer **Location:** Hayward, CA **Pay Range:** $35.00+ DOE **What's the Job?** + Provide key support for the management of nonconforming material (NC), RMA, and deviations to ensure timely and efficient resolution of manufacturing interruptions and/or component quality issues. + Develop subject matter expertise in SAP workflows for RMA and NCM handling. + Execute usage decisions for RMA in line with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. + Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to implement process improvements and resolve material or process issues. + Promote a “Zero Defect” mentality throughout the manufacturing process. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an engineering discipline, or equivalent manufacturing experience with a demonstrated quality mindset. + 0-3+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance supporting manufacturing in a regulated environment. + Experience applying quality regulations and standards (e.g., 21CFR 820, ISO 13485) to actual situations. + Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with diverse groups of people. + Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting demands. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to develop expertise in SAP and quality assurance processes. + Engagement in global project implementations and process improvements. + Collaboration with a diverse team of professionals. + Potential for career growth and development within a reputable organization. + Work in a supportive environment that promotes a culture of quality and excellence.
