Job Description

  

Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Engineer: Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. Perform equipment modifications as necessary. Develop improvements to increase reliability of older equipment and increase performance of newer equipment. Main focus with Applied Materials Centura/Endura with etch/CVD chambers, EVG wafer bonders, Camtek measurement, SEM, FIB, Oxford ALD. ASML stepper and Tel 8” Track systems. Working closely with production engineering to support current production and achieve new development design tasks.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenanceCollect data and performs analysis of required workIdentify technical problems and implement solutions as appropriateCollaborate with team members on complex equipment issuesTroubleshoot equipment problemsMaintain records and reports as requiredCoordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtimeOrder and install partsRespond to emergency service calls as requiredPerform upgrades and modifications to equipment as neededResponsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company provided tools, equipment, etc.Responsible for following proper industry safety procedures when working with potentially dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, high voltage/high current, moving mechanical parts, high pressure gases, hazardous gases, radiation, etc.Must maintain personal and professional standards of conduct

Job Qualifications:

Ability to use intermediate math skills to analyze dataAbility and willingness to follow strict written operational guidelinesExcellent customer interface skills are requiredAbility to work in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and at heightsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 50 poundsMay require bending/stooping/crawling/climbingMay require the use of personal protection equipmentStrong attention to detailAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsMust have strong mechanical aptitudePrior experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and improvements.Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting abilities, PLC experience a plus

Salary Range:

$59,400.00-$79,310.000
