THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the MGM Rewards Representative is to deliver a WOW experience at the MGM Rewards desk by enthusiastically promoting and enrolling guests in the MGM Rewards program, handling redemptions and transactions, and addressing inquiries with exceptional care. All tasks must align with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.


STARTING RATE: $17 an hour


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Guest Assistance and Program Explanation: Address guest inquiries about the MGM Rewards program, Direct Marketing Offers, MyVegas (if applicable), special event offers, and any program changes. Ensure consistent promotion of the GameSense problem gambling program.

Enrollment and Redemption: Provide detailed explanations of the MGM Rewards program to guests, assist with enrolling them in the program, and facilitate the redemption of points or offers.

Points Application: Apply MGM Rewards points to guests' hotel folios accurately.

Receipt Management: Track and adjust receipts for members' non-gaming expenditures.

Offer Redemption: Redeem promotional offers, myVEGAS rewards, and issue comps or FREEPLAY as needed.

Tier Credits Management: Research, redeem, and adjust Tier Credits for guests.

System Navigation: Efficiently navigate multiple computer systems, including Patron Management, myVEGAS (where applicable), MCP, Opera, Veridoc, and GMP.

Mobile App Assistance: Help guests navigate and use the mobile app effectively.

Reservation Corrections: Collaborate with VIP Services to correct hotel reservations when necessary.

Comp Issuance: Assist hosts in issuing discretionary and MGM Rewards Point comps.

Event Coordination: Support companywide promotional events such as the Holiday Gift Shoppe, Cruise Giveaway, and Stay and Gift promotions.

Tournament and Ticket Distribution: Assist with promotional slot tournaments and distribute event tickets.

Additional Responsibilities: Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the team and ensure seamless operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Work Schedule: Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated excellence in customer service, with a proven ability to address guest inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver a personalized, positive experience.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and POS systems, with the ability to efficiently manage transactions and data entry.

Data Analysis Skills: Ability to read, understand, and interpret data effectively to make informed decisions and provide accurate information to guests.

Strong Communication Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in composing clear and professional emails and interacting effectively with guests and team members.

Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail in handling guest information, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in data management and reporting.
