Job Description:
About the Role:
The Customer Business Manager (CBM) will be accountable for overall customer performance, forecast accuracy, hitting and/or exceeding annual target revenue and margin goals. This role will also be responsible for Engaging and Delighting the customer and delivering on customer-supplier scorecard metrics.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintains strong customer relationships, serve as main THS point of contact.
Deliver THS comms. to customer, manage customer reactions & expectations.
Resolve customer issues, alongside Customer Service and Customer Supply Chain
Mobilize feedback loop, provide insights & recommendations back to business unit.
Sells THS customer specific value proposition, execute division selling and pricing initiatives.
Represents the customer to BUs to develop short- and long-term business opportunities.
Delivers on forecast accuracy.
Lead special projects on the team as needed.
Accountable for accurate demand plan and inputs into Blue Yonder, address gaps to Customer Annual Strategic Plan, develop customer AOP in conjunction with Commercial Finance
Work with Customer Service, Customer Supply Chain, and Sales Leadership to limit customer allocation.
Actively monitor customer book of business and analyze white-space opportunities solve core SKU voids.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
Minimum of 5 years of business experience in sales or related field
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
Retail grocery channel, Topco experience is required.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills and effective relationship building skills.
Excellent business analytical skills – use of data to drive product and pricing strategies, and their impact to production forecasts.
Solid financial acumen - Understanding of P&L and price implications to optimize customer bid strategies and management of trade funding.
Fluency in Salesforce, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Circana Unify+, BI, SAP, and SharePoint
Strong management skills with demonstrated problem solving ability, skilled at multi-tasking and prioritization, and communication of AOP performance to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
Capable of building strong internal and external relationships to achieve desired customer outcomes.
Ability to transform insights and analytics into customized strategic account plans for deliver growth.
