Job Description:The College of Medicine is seeking applications for the position of Manager, Health Care Administration to provide managerial oversight for the development and direction of UF Vascular Surgery quality improvement efforts and operations spanning all aspects of the clinical service. This position will supervise and provide assistance when needed. The Manager will also report directly to the Director of the Department of Surgery and have a reporting line to the chief of the Vascular Surgery service.
+ Management and Supervision: Work directly with the Chief in daily oversight and development of the UF Vascular Surgery clinical practice. Serve as a project manager supporting Vascular clinical faculty, clinical service support, clinical research administration and graduate medical education. Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new hires and serve as an administrative liaison for Divisional faculty and staff. Supervise Vascular Office Manager and provide assistance when needed. Focus on patient-centric reorganization and training, which may include attending conferences as part of the Department of Surgery team. Work with the surgery team in improving patient satisfaction.
+ Clinical Operations, Strategic Planning and Analysis: Establish and manage analytical reports designed to monitor Division performance. Oversee divisional clinical policies and procedures. Work with Marketing and Business Development teams to support the strategic growth of the practice. Work directly with Department Administrators in the development of Vascular Surgery financial and strategic planning. Monitor and manage Vascular Surgery financial reports. Work directly with UF Aortic Disease Center administrators on programmatic growth and development, with effort spanning quality improvement, data analysis, marketing and physician outreach.
Expected Salary:
$60,000 - $70,000
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in an appropriate area or equivalent experience in the healthcare administration field.
+ Possess extensive knowledge of UFP clinic operations.
