As the Human Resource Partner, you’ll report to the onsite Associate Director of Human Resources and will have responsibility for the execution of HR processes and activities to support the manufacturing site located in Foley, AL. You will collaborate with the business as an advisor on topics including organizational effectiveness, change and talent management, employee development, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and special projects. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Build and maintain effective working relationships with management and employees to provide advice and counsel on employee-related and organizational matters, serving as an employee advocate and as a coach to employees and leaders.

Partner with leaders to implement and raise awareness about HR programs which support the business goals and produce results in a complex matrix environment.

Responsible for effective execution of all Human Resources processes, including the Leadership Development Review, Performance Management, salary planning, etc.

Collaborate with the broader HR network (i.e. Employee & Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management) to develop and deploy strategies that address site needs.

Work in partnership with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support business goals and drive results across Foley organization within.

Effectively lead and execute Human Resources processes including performance management, salary planning, talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, and leadership development.

Implement strategic short and long-term HR initiatives, in partnership with the senior HR and local leadership, to drive business results; quantify business results via metrics review.

Leverage process improvement/lean manufacturing tools and methodology to align with business needs; seek new innovative ways to automate and streamline HR processes.

Implement employee programs designed to promote our OneCollins culture, optimize organizational effectiveness and increase employee engagement.

Ensure proper staffing level with approval from Leadership Team and Finance, infuse talent into the organization and improve bench strength.

Counsel employees on performance, career planning, work/life balance and other topics in concurrence with Employee Relations team.

Consult with clients to understand training and development needs and advise accordingly.

Advise managers on compensation-related decisions to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.

Lead and support special projects as assigned.

Domestic travel up to 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience 

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position

Prior HR Business Partner Experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

This position will be worked onsite in Foley, AL; candidate must be local to the site or be willing to relocate

Demonstrated experience working with Senior Leadership, influencing HR practices effectively across all levels of the organization

Ability to communicate with all levels of management

Ability and demonstrated skills leading change through organization in HR roles

Experience in managing conflict

Multi-tasking abilities, have a client focus, adaptive, and work effectively in a time sensitive and vibrant environment

Strong negotiation skills and experience in handling conflict and diffusing difficult situations

Working knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or comparable applications

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
