Who we’re looking for:
Working for Rogers Communications in Toronto, the Manager – Portfolio & Lease Administration will support the Senior Director – Corporate Real Estate and will lead the delivery of all functions and requirements in Lease Administration and Property Tax management.  The successful candidate will play an integral role on the team supporting as the direct lead to our outsourced 3rd party partner delivering the day to day lease administration services, will be responsible for regular reviews of lease administration service performance, manage the property tax appeals process and our 3rd party partners delivering that service, governance and KPI management of our 3rd party partners, execution of estoppels, and other general support as necessary in connection with new requirements and escalations in the lease administration and property tax space.


What you’ll do:
1.Lease Administration

Direct management of the outsourced team dedicated to the delivery of lease administration services Regular governance and performance management (KPIs, SLAs) of our outsourced service partner in lease administration Regular reviews/audit requirements, in line with our SOX compliance needs, in order to ensure accurate and appropriate payments are being made Execution of any estoppel requests received Annual lease expense budgeting and periodic forecast updates

2.Property Tax Appeals

Direct management of the outsourced property tax appeals team Annual property tax budgeting and periodic forecast updates

 

What you bring:

College/University education Experience in a Real Estate Services organization/department/environment an asset Experience with a focus on lease administration a strong asset Ability to think strategically/creative problem solver Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technically savvy – ability to learn/use software to analyze data and generate reports Self-motivated and able to work independently Superior organizational and time-management skills Adapts to fast-changing environment – works well under pressur

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week.
