Enlists and qualifies various carriers and manages the claims and pallet recovery programs. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. **Position Responsibilities:** + Implements delivery programs within budgetary guidelines while still maintaining an acceptable level of customer satisfaction. + Generates period-end revenue report. Identify backhaul pickups that do not meet the minimum requirement for revenue. + Reviews daily purchase orders to build optimal consolidations to achieve maximum revenue. Establishes Booked Freight Cost with vendors. Negotiates contract rates and conditions with carrier. + Implements quality delivery initiatives and methods which meet the company’s needs and the needs of the vendors/customers. Develops delivery strategies which are cost-effective and meet the necessary scheduling and time requirements.
