Mgr, Sales Operations – Treatment Plant
Job Summary Responsible for leading, supporting, and optimizing our sales operations functions to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability for national, regional, or local markets. Optimize sales effectiveness in partnership with other sales partners. Engage and inspire the team to drive profitable business results. Monitor, analyze, and report on sales results. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Develops training plans in coordination with Senior Sales Managers and Corporate training. Supports talent attraction, succession planning, and other team development initiatives. Develop in coordination with Corporate legal, contract process efficiencies. Collaborate with Senior Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers to align operations with overall business goals. Identify, analyze, and optimize opportunities through data development and enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity. Supports key performance metrics and dashboards. Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Assist Director and Senior Managers as needed with additional responsibilities. Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Typically requires frequent overnight travel, up to 50%. Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds). Minimum Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older. Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable. Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally, 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years’ experience in the water, wastewater, or treatment plant industry. 3+ years’ experience sales or sales support experience Strong analytical and problem – solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
