Responsibilities

Manage behavioral health daily operations.

Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which support the strategic plan and vision.Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services.Oversee performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment,
and payroll.Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

One or more of the following required:Master Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Counselor specializing in Alcohol and Drug Abuse credentialed from the Michigan Certification Board for Addition Professionals (MCBAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences LPC, CCS Substance use disorder treatment preferred
