Position Summary

As the Manager-Benefits, this role will leverage expertise to create a competitive benefits strategy aligned with MHS values, to attract and retain top talent. Focusing on finding unique and creative ways to attract and retain employees as well as minimize costs to employees and to the organization while maximizing benefits and fostering strong relationships with our benefits brokers and stakeholders. This requires both analytical and creative, strategic and operational, as well as have strong written and spoken communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of our organization. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree Five to eight (5-8) years of progressive experience within the Benefits and/or human resources role/function with increased responsibility Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $130,499.00 - $187,782.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
