Job Description Summary:

<h2><b>Overview</b></h2><div><div><div><p>Ensure that any new software integration into existing systems meets the functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, software systems development, systems maintenance, production activities, and necessary support resources. Ensure that projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise. Under general direction, provides technical assistance to facilitate planning and directing the design, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability. Review, analyze, and coordinate existing applications' effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems. Evaluate vendor proposals for purchases of hardware, software, and technical services to ensure adherence to technical specifications. Ensure that the application team communicates required training and documentation for end-users, hold classes as necessary, and other user-related activities.</p></div></div></div>

Responsibilities

Develop and responsible for Information Systems application implementations.
Responsible for Information Systems Maintenance activities and effective use of change management.
  Identify improvements in processes or education initiatives to promote improved application/system benefits.
  Promote a positive team environment.
Recognize and reinforce significant accomplishments and contributions to improved customer service.
Facilitate inter/intra departmental relationships.
Ability to give formal presentations.
Evaluate employee skill level to determine expertise.
Provide the tools necessary for employees to work effectively.
  Perform and interpret cost analysis and feasibility studies.
  Make recommendations based on the findings.
Support the strategic goals of the organization by assigning and managing appropriate resources.
Prepare and manage the capital and operating budgets.
Monitors vendor service levels, coordinate service issues with equipment vendors, and documents vendor maintenance performance.
  Requires close coordination and communication with vendors.
Actively supports the six pillars of the organization: High-Quality Healthcare; High-Quality Customer Service; Financial Strength; Community Value; Employee Satisfaction and Ethics and Compliance.
Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:   Trained professional with knowledge of Healthcare/IS normally acquired through five-plus years of college or Technical School or equivalent work experience.  
LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: N/A  
EXPERIENCE: Experience in developing and managing Capital and Operational Budgets as well as the ability to manage and support multiple contracts. Experienced in using "Project Management" tools and the ability to present the information in a precise and understandable manner to the end-users, team members, management, and vendors alike. Requires 5 years of continuous, increasingly responsible experience directly related to duties within this document.
