This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations. We are seeking an key individual contributor to the Global EH&S Team supporting the assessment, development, and deployment of EHS Standards and Trainings company-wide. This is a key role that will be an important member of the Global EH&S team. _Culture_ : is responsive and adaptive to change; collaborative yet accountable; can interact professionally within all levels of the organization _Pace & Energy_ : high-energy, can multi-task in a fast-paced environment _Results Focused_ : results-oriented, consistently achieves deadlines and milestones _Leadership_ : Humble, team player yet highly motivated by opportunity & challenge, strong communication skills that are crisp, credible and which instill confidence and creates strong followership. _Customer Focused_ : understands what it means to provide a service to internal customers and working to meet needs and expectations In this role you will: - Support the EHS Global team focused on Standards and Training, by enhancing or developing documents, tools, and trainings to ensure compliance with regulations, promoting a safe work environment, and mitigation of occupational hazards. - Facilitate discussions between members of the EHS Standards and Training Council along with key contributors or subject matter experts from global sites - Bring a strong background in EHS regulations, communication skills, and a passion for building a positive safety culture - Collaborate with key personnel at all levels in the organization to facilitate collaboration and execution of safety programs across 3 TE Segments and 10 TE Business Units (BU). **What your background should look like:** + University degree in business related field, engineering or equivalent. + At least 6 - 7 years of relatable experience in regulatory interpretation and EH&S program development, safety management, and implementation, with a preference for corporate settings. + Prior experience and knowledge in manufacturing industry strongly preferred. + Contribute or lead to assessment and development of EH&S standards and training. + Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards. + Proven track record that demonstrates ability to work independently to achieve desired results in a Corporate environment. + Strong people & organizational leadership skills. + Excellent oral and written (including technical policy writing) communication skills towards staff, peers, suppliers, internal customers, and leadership. + Ability to prioritize manage complexity in a fast-paced environment. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word using Styles and Editing; SharePoint **Competencies** Motivating Others Managing and Measuring Work Building Effective Teams Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) **ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY** TE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future.
