Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Stamping Process Development Team:

 

Responsibilities include leading a team of Die Technicians and Die Makers in Process Development for Launch of Progressive Stamping for internal production.

 

Limited production runs are necessary to meet customer requirements or support internal Assembly Department requirements.

 

Creates measurable goals, tracks performance and frequently communicates performance results with Direct reports. Performs end of year performance assessments for direct reports. Manages weekly workload and overtime needed to meet timing needs. Supports Apprenticeship Instructor with training opportunities. Works with team to ensure all safety standards are maintained throughout development process. Assigns equipment and technician resources to achieve Die Build Timeline and customer requirements. Works with maintenance to ensure all equipment follows PM program. Helps define continuous improvement plan to reduce lead time, costs and increase process performance. Identifies and requests necessary tools and consumables to support Die Technician Works with direct reports to build an individual development plan to enhance career development and match talent to business needs. Participates in Strategy Development with Engineering Lead, Design Lead and Department manager, leads technical team in Strategy Execution. What your background should look like: 10+ Years of production experience in a high-volume automotive connector stamping environment 2-4 Years of experience developing new Dies and Stamping processes Demonstrated Motivational and Leadership skills Strong working knowledge of: Steels, carbides, and coatings used in cutting and forming tooling Stamping press functions and operations (Bruderer controllers a Plus) Programming of vision systems and camera technology Laser welding processes Project leadership experience, with strong organization and project management skills Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Lead Manufacturing Competencies Motivating OthersManaging and Measuring WorkBuilding Effective TeamsValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkSET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $122,480 – $183,720 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
