At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.What your background should look like:

1.    Preparing Business Case and involving Feasibility Study Process
-    Prepare and develop Business Case;
-    Involve entire Feasibility Study Process to provide multiple options and converts inputs into project plans which can be reviewed by management to evaluate the economic and strategic benefit to the company training and development;
2.    Developing and controlling project budget
-    Develop and implement Project budget and monitor the achievement of the budget.;   
-    Follow up and control all the relevant changes during different project phases to make sure entire Project Budget be respected and minimize the potential gap.
3.    Controlling Project Schedule
-    Develop and implement Project timetable and monitor the achievement of the implementation of entire project 
-    Follow up and control all the relevant changes during different project phases to make sure entire Project scheduling be respected and minimize the potential risks;
4.    Project Management
-    Manage ongoing project implementation by periodically key project review, provide feedbacks upon the project summary reports; pre-mass production and Project Release system approval; and Project information system
-    Interfaces with Purchasing, Demand Management, Quality, Human Resources, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, Finance and legal to analyze and resolve road blocks encountered
-    Act as Project coordinator and chair meetings to inform those concerned with the progress of specific projects and ensure that the schedules are met
5.    Managing the smooth Communication
-    Follow Project Scope and timetable and monitor the achievement of the implementation of entire project;
-    Take the leadership of the communication for both internal and external relevant players;
-    Work with internal count parts like procurement, materials, factory operations, and engineering departments as well as external related players like multiple government departments to successfully execute the Industrial Strategic Plan;
6.    Controlling Risks on Safety, Policies and Procedure
-    Make sure Safety First during project implementation phases;
-    Oversee the implementation of the global and regional policy and procedure and system;
-    Monitor and ensure the Project policy, procedure and system to align with government regulation and requirement and corporate policy as well as streamline the process in order to guide employees and vendors’ work and improve their efficiency;
7.    People management and development
-    Allocate and balance work across direct reports, Periodical review project team target and subordinate performance to judge the target reallocation and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports ;
-    Support and coordinate the relationship among the project team members; and help to solve the cross-functional/Cross BU's issues;
-    Mentor, develop, motivate direct reports and provide related training; develop training plan for new employees in order to achieve targeted Region project team’s performance and retain key talent;
