Designs and delivers in-house product training programs for Operations to include planning, risk management, and performance addressing safety, quality, schedule, and cost. Develops and implements training aids and criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Develop training instructors. Keeps abreast of training and development research to deploy best practices. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing workforce for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. Evaluate and/or oversee matrixed employees and/or contractors to develop and/or administer training programs. Responsible for 2nd shift training operations.

Must HaveBachelors degree in a relevant discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master's degree and 6 years relevant experience.
Nice to HaveAbility to work in terms of meeting the organizational objectives and schedules
General understanding of diverse craft disciplines in shipbuilding
Previous experience as a craft technical facilitator, instructor, OJT/OJM role in manufacturing environment
