The Project Manager provides support for complex cross-functional strategic projects as directed by Senior Project Managers or Program Managers. The Project Manager will support driving and delivering results per charter goals, managing scope, schedule, quality, resources, risk and value/ benefit. The Project Manager will also manage medium to small projects independently for the business or internal to the function with oversight by more seasoned Program/Project Managers or leadership.
A Typical Day Might Look Like this:
Plan, manage, execute and deliver a project through its lifecycle within the approved scope, schedule and budget
Secures acceptance and approval of deliverables and perceived value from the Project Lead and Stakeholders
Estimates and coordinates project resources
Maintains the Project Charter, schedule, issues log, budget and risk management plan
Manages the risk register and the escalation of risks and issues.
Partners with Change Manager to ensure all PM/CM tasks are delivered and integrated
Manages necessary project change control/ baselining process
Leads and ensures the design of implementation strategies and plans Develop, manage and orchestrate project communications across the project team
Ensure the project achieves its goals, objectives and deliverables as defined by the project charter
This Position Might Be for You if:
Reviews Project Charter and supports the gathering of project requirements with Lead Project Manager, Project Team members, Sponsors and Stakeholders
Manages PM tools (agendas, schedules, budget, RAID logs, team spaces, etc.)
Supports the oversight of project resource capacity to ensure right capacity to support project; highlighting risks to project manager as necessary
Supports Vendor oversight work (as necessary) – run rates, issues/ risk, etc.
Supports the creation of project plans, tools and templates
Conducts post-implementation project reviews to incorporate lessons learned for future projects
Coordinates work effort across the team (internal and external as appropriate)
Supports the business in the analyses of current and future state processes
Support the development and management of project/ program communications across the project/ program team
Support the Project or Program Lead in the execution of regular Project Team meetings
Generates and stores meeting summaries
Prepares progress reporting/ dashboards to highlight status, risks, issues and escalations
Sets up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
Leads and facilitates project sub-team meetings as requested
Collaborates with cross functional team, project lead, project manager

Project Management Methodologies. Knowledge of project management methodologies to help structure, standardize and organize methods for the execution of the project

Communication/ Leadership. Maintain a team’s understanding of, and commitment to the vision, values and objectives through effective and open communication
To be considered you must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relevant project management industry experience managing large, complex projects.
