The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It’s Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Manager of Accreditation & Licensing provides leadership, guidance and support for all hospital-wide accreditation and regulatory survey activities. This position will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and guidance for all healthcare accreditation and licensing matters. This position is responsible for supporting hospital accreditation survey preparedness, coordination, and response, including the preparation and implementation of corrective action plans. The Manager is responsible for overseeing hospital-wide accreditation programs, including CDPH, CMS, and DNV, and collaborates to support other department-specific accreditations. This position manages all hospital licensing initiatives, including maintaining the hospital’s state bed license and supporting licensing for both new and modified clinical services. This position is tasked with promoting a sustainable culture of continuous survey readiness across the organization. **Schedule:** While our department does offer a hybrid work arrangement, allowing team members to work from home twice per week, this particular role requires a higher degree of flexibility. Due to the unpredictable nature of the work, we are seeking candidates who are adaptable and willing to be present in the office as needed. This position is not suited for those looking to work from home full-time. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** 5+ years of experience with healthcare accreditation and licensure programs (including CMS, CDPH, TJC, DNV, etc.) required. Familiarity with California state hospital licensing regulations preferred. Accreditation and licensing experience within an acute healthcare setting preferred. Experience with DNV accreditation and/or ISO 9001 compliance preferred. Previous supervisory and fiscal management experience preferred. **Education/Licensure/Certification:** Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare-related field is required. Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred. Additional Accreditation-Related Certification Preferred (e.g. HACP certification.) **Pay Scale Information** $104,832.00-$188,698.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
