Role Description:
As a Manager, Cloud Tenant Management Operations, you play a crucial role in ensuring that products are delivered efficiently and meet client expectations. Here’s a detailed role description:
• Project Management: Oversee the delivery process from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth delivery.
• Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that may hinder the delivery process.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the delivered products meet the required quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the delivery process and any changes made.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure operations capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for operational management.
• Participate in the development of cloud operations strategies in collaboration with the cross functional stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs for service level agreements, SLI and workload. Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions.
• Establish and maintain regular communications with the cross function stakeholders for effective decision-making pertinent operations activities.
• Manage new implementation, including assigning, creating task and delivery dates
Qualifications:
•BE/BTECH or equivalent with 8 - 10 years’ experience managing and delivering operations design and operational excellence in a 24x7x365 cloud environment supporting enterprise Applications.
• Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
• 5 years successful leadership and mentoring of an operations team, preferably in a global environment.
• Strong experience in systems scaling and best of breed architecture in a cloud environment, including knowledge of application integration, scaling of cloud technologies, server scaling with knowledge of current and emerging system trends, and application scaling.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of public cloud (preferably GCP) and Linux environment.
• PM Methodology certification is an advantage
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint.
• Working experience of creating KPI reports, Power point presentations and status reports is a must.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to lead group discussions and explaining complex solutions is a must.
• Detail-oriented and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems. The role will require the ability to extract data from various sources and to design/construct/execute complex analyses to finally come up with data/reports that help solve the business problem.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and executing presentations of technical and business level data.
• Identify the activities/best practices for each process and coordinate with Process SME’s to collate data and document them
• Experience in interpreting the applicability of local and federal laws/regulations to company operations.
