**Job Summary:**
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and strategies for resident services and activities.
**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Manages resident services, which may include activities, volunteers, medical records, coding, hair stylists and materials/supply orders.
+ Manages staffing including hiring, orientating, evaluating and continuing education initiatives. This includes determining volunteer qualification and competency with volunteer personnel as appropriate.
+ Supervises records, billing, certifications and other regulatory documentation to support resident services offered.
+ Develops and administers plans reflective of organization’s mission and goals. Complies with regulations related to resident services and activities.
+ Manages and provides reports, documentation and other regulatory paperwork as required by CMS.
+ Completes a variety of administrative tasks related to resident services, which may include medical records, storage, retrieval, and destruction of files according to established Facility procedure.
+ Responsible for QAPI (Quality Assurance Performance Improvement) processes within ministry.
+ Demonstrates customer service skills in accordance with established Facility guidelines.
+ Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
EXPERIENCE
+ Four years’ experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
+ Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
+ Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
+ Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
+ Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
+ Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
+ Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
+ Rare climbing.
