The Role

Our dynamic and challenging nature of our Regional Businesses, necessitates that reliable, insightful and efficient business performance reporting become a core competency to ensure that Business Leaders are provided with information about the performance that will help drive business results with urgency.

In this role you will operate as the client-facing, direct support to the relevant business sub-region and Business Analysis team as well as working closely with the EMEA FP&A COE Cilent / Process Liaison to deliver reliable, timely and insightful business performance and forecast information for your sub-region. The role will drive continuous improvement in EMEA reporting, planning and analysis by utilising principles of LEAN/CI, standard processes and technology solutions.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly and ad hoc business profitability reporting including but not limited to market, brand, channel and customer profitability with comparisons to prior actual periods and forecasts / plans.Coordinate with the sub-regional BA to deliver reliable, timely and insightful quarterly business outlook, annual plan and long-range strategic plans to respective EMEA sub-regional Business.Develop a broad-based and detailed understanding of the underlying business performance trends and external market dynamics and leverage these to provide analytical insights that help decision makers drive optimal business results.Provide understanding through the detailed review of AOC’s to drive direction to the business units on business performance and key drivers.Leverage resources from across the FP&A COE Team to deliver analytical SG&A overhead spending trends.Utilise the principles of LEAN/CI to identify areas of process inefficiency and bottle necks, develop SW for all process and look to drive where appropriate.Work across both the FP&A COE team and EMEA Personal Care clients to drive standardization in reporting processes and systems.Drive continuous improvement and talent / knowledge building across EMEA Business Analysis, GBS and FP&A COE teams.

What will you bring to the team?

External financial reporting or breadth of internal cross-financial reporting process experiences.Analytical and Problem-Solving skills with attention to detail.Credibility with the Business Analysis community.Demonstrating a confident and proactive approach; being able to work autonomously and to influence effectively, particularly with Senior Management.Accounting / CIMA qualification  and / or other qualifications (MBA, etc).
