Our Management Information pillar portfolios—FP & A, Business, Client Advocacy, Carrier Management, Global Claims, Servicing, and Operations—address both the strategic and operational management information reporting needs of our business. The Delivery Manager, in partnership with their offshore counterpart, collaborates across these pillars to oversee day-to-day delivery, ensuring projects remain on track by carefully balancing quality, resources, and issue management, all supported by robust change control processes. The Delivery Manager works closely with Portfolio Managers and Technical Business Analysts, as well as offshore delivery teams, to ensure the successful execution of high-quality MI reporting. How you'll make an impact Project & Delivery Management In collaboration with the offshore Delivery Manager, manage the day-to-day execution of MI projects to ensure timely, quality execution. Within a matrix structure, lead cross-functional teams including technical business analysts, reporting and insight analysts and developers, and QA resources. Work with the Portfolio Manager(s) and the offshore Delivery Manager to ensure that adequate resources with the right skillset are deployed to specific MI projects and initiatives. Ensure team-wide adoption of development and delivery methodologies including using Azure DevOps for backlog, development task and lifecycle management. Change Control Manage change requests ensuring that change are appropriately documented, approved and prioritised using the approval workflows and governance framework defined for MI. Align to wider Tech CAB and change control procedures where necessary to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Delivery Risk and Issue Management Proactively identify delivery risks and issues, escalating through appropriate channels (Portfolio Manager, MI working groups, Head of Reporting). Address, monitor and resolve delivery issues relating to technical roadblocks, resource constraints and other unplanned obstacles. Represent team in wider business and technology settings pertaining to specific issues e.g. security, change control Support Portfolio Management Collaborate with the MI Portfolio Manager(s) to ensure that individual report projects, initiatives and BAU activities align with the portfolio roadmap, goals and objectives. Work with the Head of Reporting to define delivery metrics, providing reporting and updates to enable monitoring of performance and delivery successes. MI Delivery Requirements Work closely with the Technical Business Analysts to ensure that all business, functional and non-functional requirements are appropriately documented in Azure DevOps. Manage UAT processes, collaborating with QA, Development and Technical Business Analysts Drive continuous improvement in team ways of working to optimise efficiency, build consistency in effort and output, and accuracy in estimations. About You A proven track record in project and/or delivery management in a Management Information Reporting, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics environment. Focuses on understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external clients for now and the future of a long term relationship Strong project and delivery management skills, and project methodologies e.g. Agile Experience of Azure DevOps or similar tools Strong understanding of reporting tools and practices e.g. Power BI, data visualisation Knowledge and practical experience of databases and data platforms e.g. SQL, databases, data warehousing, Snowflake Understanding of data governance, and regulatory compliance and change control frameworks High degree of communication agility Experience of managing and prioritising multiple initiatives e.g. projects, related to data products Ability to manage and develop insight and reporting practitioners e.g. technical business analysts, data/insight analysts Highly analytical and critical thinker – effective problem solver. Experience of working with teams concurrently across different geographical regions Able to anticipate risk realisation, issues and other challenges and manage appropriately Can balance quality, resources, competing needs and issue management.
