Relocation assistance is not available for this position. **Benefits Offered:** + Medical/dental coverage! + Weekly pay! + 401k and PTO after 6 months! + Great benefit package offered upon conversion! **Microbiologist Daily Tasks** : What you will do: + Participate in all aspects of microbial testing (i.e. media production, PET, Celsis, APC, & Enrichment, & any miscellaneous testing) + Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & safety precautions as outlined by the Plant Leadership via written procedures & safety standards (i.e. SDS). + Report all out of specification (OOS) results to a QS Leader or designee. + Support the initiatives of key manufacturing & quality personnel, such as obtaining environmental samples for process improvements or water sampling. + Ensure the good maintenance-state of the appointed laboratory instruments. + Supporting the auditing of key manufacturing & quality processes, including data entry of environmental or product samples. **Microbiologist Qualifications/Requirements:** + B.S. in Biology or Microbiology required + 2 years’ experience with bench work is required + Experience in wet scales, weighing, plating, and prepping samples is a plus! **_We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
