SECTION 1: JOB SUMMARY* Entry to developing individual contributor, who works under close supervision. Assists staff in various processes in the Quality Control function. Supports day-to-day laboratory activities such as sample management, supply ordering and receipt, and general housekeeping. Assists with analysis, qualification/validation activities, and lab investigations. Supports data review and metrics reporting. Executes continuous improvement projects with supervision. May execute testing under supervision. SECTION 2: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: + Assists laboratory staff with sample receipt, management of reagents and supplies, and general housekeeping. + Tests samples of finished goods under general supervision. + Applies developing knowledge of Quality Control standards to review results of quality analysis and report issues as required. + Supports data review and analysis and leads implementation of risk mitigations and continuous improvement initiatives under supervision. + Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. + This job does not require any experience. This job is overtime eligible. + Work in team environment behaving in a CREDO based respectful manner. + Comply with all federally regulated programs. + Adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines. + Comply with all job specific safety procedures and utilize PPE when necessary. + Comply with quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions. + Use test equipment (Starett Gauge, Mitutoyo Gauge, Microscope, etc.) where applicable. + Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.g. ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, etc.) + Consistently meet required work performance targets (RE's), if applicable + Support LEAN and Six Sigma Initiatives. + Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2) including 6S and Operator Asset Care. + Accurately complete records as defined within the job procedures (e.g. manual and/or electronic documentation). + Consistently meet required Training due date targets. + Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level + Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. + For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable + Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures + Conducts assigned scientific experiments and data analyses with supervisor’s assistance to support preclinical and development programs or areas of biological exploration in compliance with Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), etc., spending 90% of time on lab work. + Maintains current laboratory equipment and operates analytical and other instruments. + Maintains accurate documentation and timely reporting in compliance with Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), etc. + Supports the work of project members to accomplish team objectives on time and within budget. + Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. + Performs other duties assigned as needed **Qualifications** SECTION 3: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION + Generally, Requires 0-2 Years Work Experience SECTION 4: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS* + This individual must have demonstrated capability to conduct microbiological tests and studies under minimal supervision. + Ability to work independently to perform testing with limited supervision. + Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills + Must be able to interact well with peers and colleagues Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
