Job Title:        Microbiology Lab Tech
Location:        Souderton, PA
Shift:               10am-6pm Monday to Direct Hire
Type:               6 month contract-hire 
Pay:                 $22/24 per hour

Overview: 
Established and growing food manufacturing company is seeking to add a member to their Quality Control team to work alongside the Quality Director and grow professionally as part of an amazing team and organization.

Responsibilities:  Validate and assure compliance with established food safety and quality objectives Execute daily monitoring of quality programs Conduct environmental monitoring  Review and determine action plans for laboratory data results Proactively identify food safety issues Develop strategies to effectively investigate and respond to product quality issues Manage document control program  Assist with food safety initiatives and quality compliance Assisting with updating and maintaining electronic document systems for the quality team Monitor and verify all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards Requirements: BS in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology 6 months of Quality experience for food company in GMP preferred Positive attitude and ability to work in fast paced environment
