Microbiology Lab Technician

ResponsibilitiesEnter the sample data into eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner.Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.Keeping work area clean, sanitized, and tidyHomogenizing and aseptically splitting sample into bagsEnriching samples with mediaIncubating samples using LIMS systemChecking samples into retain using storage managementIdentify non-conformances and out-of specifications samplesSkillsExperience in biology, microbiology, or a related field.Proficiency with laboratory techniques and aseptic techniques.Experience with plating and sterile techniques.Knowledge of quality assurance processes.Skills & QualificationsLooking for candidates that have an AAS or BA degree in Microbiology, food science, chemistry, biology, biochemistry or a related field.Comfortable in a fast-paced, lab environment.Work Environment

Shift: Monday - Friday 12 PM

Pay: $17.50 - $17.94/HR

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 2 PM

Pay: $17.50 - $18.81/HR
