Job Description

The Microbiology Scientist I will conduct various bench testing procedures, including sample preparation, plating, culturing, and environmental swabs, monitoring, and testing. This role involves conducting microbial and physical analyses to support the development of manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical products. The scientist will provide analytical support for the release of registration materials in support of regulatory submissions and assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities.

ResponsibilitiesPerform assigned analytical tasks in support of product development, registration lot release, and pre- and post-regulatory submission activities.Conduct activities within assigned timelines while complying with cGXP's, and company practices and procedures.Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices.Document analytical activities and results accurately, in a timely manner, and maintain data integrity.Identify execution challenges of analytical methods and support troubleshooting activities.Essential SkillsExperience in microbiology lab techniques and procedures.Experience with dilutions, sample preparation, biochemistry, and quality control.Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Biology with a minor in Microbiology.Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks.Capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrongly prefer candidates with lab experience outside of academia in a microbiology lab/testing environment.Must have a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or Biology with a minor in MicrobiologyPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
