Microbulk Service Technician

Location: Raleigh, NC

Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is seeking a Microbulk Service Technician to join our team The Microbulk Service Technician is responsible for tank repair, maintaining and removing all types of gaseous, cryogenic and propane storage units. The Microbulk Service Technician will interact with project manager, sales, customers, contractors, engineers, and inspectors regarding installation/maintenance at the customer's site.

Pay range: $23.50 - $34.48 hourly (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities (1st Shift)

Frequently travels to customer sites to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on Microbulk unitsDiagnose problems, failures, and identifies replacement needs Repairs various items, systems and/or components of Microbulk unitsEnsures equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are completePerforms routine and preventive maintenance for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of equipmentRequest’s equipment and supplies to complete the necessary installation/repairManages inventory and shipping of parts to other Technicians in the regionArranges shipment of tanks to meet job scheduleMay require both planned and unplanned overnight travelOther duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED requiredBasic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude a plusExperience pipefitting and brazing a plusValid Driver's License with clean driving record requiredNo DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) yearsMust be able/willing to travel (overnight travel required)
