Job Title: Microgrid Systems Engineer
Job Description

The Microgrid Systems Engineer provides engineering services for the design and implementation of Microgrid Applications with a special focus on Hybrid/Solar/Renewable Energy Applications. These engineering activities include providing professional Control System engineering services associated with the design of low and medium voltage distributed energy resources (DERs). This role involves working based on customer or internally provided plans and specifications, which will be submitted and released for implementation following engineering procedures and standards.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Durham, North Carolina and some days remote.

Work Environment

Primarily at desk. Heavy collaboration amongst other product groups within engineering. Hybrid flex will be offered as well (at least 2-3 days in office - manager is flexible on this)
