We are looking for an experienced Semiconductor industry professional with front end wafer fabrication experience to work as a strategic program manager on the New York Site. The ideal candidate will have multiyear experience in at least one of the following areas: equipment engineering, technology transfer, industrial engineering, or facilities engineering.
 
As a program manager for Micron New York you will support the green field start up and construction of the Fab. You will also support the sustaining operations of the Fab through developing and implementing strategic programs and KPI’s critical to sustaining fab operations such as maximizing output, reducing cost, transferring new technology, and improving productivity and efficiency. You will work with and advise senior leadership on program performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

This position will extensively handle streamline communications with external and internal stakeholders and work on organization change management.

The scope of this position will include, but not limited to:

Green Field Startup

Support program management on permitting, environmental assessment, and construction.Work with program sponsors and leadership team to define the problem to be solved, define project scope, measurements of progress, timelines for achievements and completion, and resources requirements.Track the performance metrics for the program and the associated projects.Build detailed project plans, lead projects and track execution to plan.Publish regular updates to the organization summarizing project and program performance.

Strategic Program Management

Oversee and lead strategic site wide program and initiatives such as technology transfer, tool install and qualification, cost reduction, business planning, capacity planning, productivity improvements, and workforce development.Work with fab leadership on target setting, and strategic direction of programs.Define resource requirements.Develop and manage program reporting solutions (Tableau, PowerBI, SQL)Implement continuous improvement strategies.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$102,000.00 - $173,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
