Microsoft 365 Service Management Leader

The Office 365 Service Management Leader will manage and develop a diverse team of Service Owners and Solution Designers and forge strong partnerships with Nokia internal stakeholders and suppliers.

This dynamic leader will ensure improvements in Office 365 services including, but not limited to, Exchange On-line & On-premises, SharePoint On-line, OneDrive, Loop, VIVA Suite, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio, MS Teams, M365 Applications, Data Hold, Entra ID & AD on-premises. 

The candidate will ensure that service delivery is fully aligned with business objectives, technology roadmap, and IT strategy focusing on user experience.

Educational Background: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration/Accounting, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience. Prefer advanced degree. Service management experience in large enterprises. 6+ years IT service experience in managing Office 365 Services in the area of End User Compute within a global enterprise. 3+ years of IT Infrastructure leadership experience at a Sr. Manager level. Experience in managing service suppliers, specifically tracking performance toward statements of work or service descriptions through implementation and tracking of service levels, reporting metrics and KPIs.

 

Knowledge:

Must have a good understanding of all product and service needs for the scope of work.   General knowledge of technologies in the End User Computing scope as well as related Information Security tools and standards.  Enhanced knowledge of the Microsoft portfolio for Office 365 services as described.   Expertise/experience modern workplace services. Knowledge of the Nokia IT supplier eco system and contractual structure is a strong plus.     Ability to motivate and manage teams to work towards common goals and objectives.  Passionate about technology, user experience and collaboration tools. Significant experience in deploying large scale technical solutions. Significant experience on planning activities. Agile and Continuous Delivery and methodologies, Azure DevOps is a plus. Excellent Communications skills: Written, Verbal and ability to present material to senior and executive management teams. 


 


Key Result Areas:  

Ensure smooth, professional, and responsive IT operations of the IT services in scope: Exchange On-line & On-premises, SharePoint On-line, OneDrive, Loop, VIVA Suite, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio, MS Teams, M365 Applications, Data Hold, Entra ID & AD on-premises. Manage budgets and cost related to the service in scope, ensure high forecast accuracy and identify and implement measures for cost optimization.  Lead and develop a diverse team of Service Owners and Solution Designers in alignment with Nokia values and business goals.   Strongly collaborate with other Strategy & Technology teams and other stakeholders from Nokia business.   Contributes to and assists with the implementation of the departmental technology roadmap; plans change to staffing. Support the IT strategic and service planning to achieve business goals.  Keeps current with trends and issues in the IT industry; advises, counsels and educates executives and management on their impact. Assesses and proposes the emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the service scope.   Provides consultation/expertise on complex projects and other IT activities.
