Description Job Title: Microsoft Defender Specialist Location: Gardena, CA Type: Contract (2-4 weeks, possible extension) Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overview: Seeking a skilled Microsoft Defender Specialist for a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Defender products and experienced in managing security alerts, configuring rules, and implementing policies across devices. Key Responsibilities: + Expertise in Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, XDR, AVR, Cloud Apps). + Troubleshoot and configure security alerts, and set up high-priority rules. + Customize alerts for enhanced threat visibility. + Push policies to devices and users. + Support onboarding for shared devices used by 300-400 users. + Guide teams on Microsoft security features, including Endpoint, Office 365, and Threat Intelligence. Requirements Qualifications: + Experience with Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, XDR, AVR, Cloud Apps). + Strong skills in triaging and managing security alerts. + Proven experience configuring security policies across shared devices. + Familiarity with onboarding processes in enterprise or government environments.
