ALTA is looking for a Microsoft Power Platform Architect with a minimum of 12 years of IT experience, including architecture, development, and delivering end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate should be proficient in modern programming languages such as C#, SQL, and JavaScript, and have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, D365, and Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate. Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Power Platform customization is essential. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required. This is a hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ.
Experience / Qualifications Minimum 12 years of overall IT experience with architecture, development and providing end-end solutions using any other technologies, programming languages and databases. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, C++, JSON, Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc. Passion for moving organizations forward with the Power Platform and excitement for the impact Power Platform can have on customer experiences. Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments. Minimum 5 years of experience working as lead architect and hands-on experience in developing applications using Microsoft Dynamics, D365, and Power Platform including Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps and Power Pages. Core Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft DataVerse (CDS), Power Automate. Knowledge of ALM Azure DevOps CI CD and Automation in the context of Power Platform. Experience in in extending Power Platform using custom connectors and PCF will be advantage. Extensive presentation and demonstration experience resulting in empowering users with Power Platform skills. Experience in data modeling and query tools such as Power Query in Power BI and Excel.
Education Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related fields.
