The Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program at Leidos currently has an opening for a Microsoft (MS) Power Platform Developer to support our business intelligence, file storage, and reporting needs. The position will be a remote/telework role. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in creating tools and dashboards to support a U.S. Navy program.

Primary Responsibilities

Design and develop within the Microsoft Power Platform suite of applications (Power BI, Apps, Portal, Automate, Dataverse).Design, code, and implement solutions using software engineering best practices.Complete various incoming SharePoint assignments. Assess and translate requests to best optimize the user experience, troubleshoot reported issues, and maintain our MS SharePoint configuration using best practices.Build useful and informative Power BI dashboards for use by stakeholders around the SMIT program, Leidos, and our government customers.Develop and ensure all solutions, package components and configurations migrate properly between new/established environments.Take part in data analysis, data best practices, database design, programming, and implementation.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.Relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree in other disciplines.4-8 years of experience (2-6 with Masters) with designing and developing within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, Portal, SharePoint, Automate, Dataverse).Knowledge of Power BI dashboard development.Understanding of SharePoint site collection architecture, permission management, and creating front-end SharePoint apps and web pages.Working knowledge of DAX.Ability to work with stakeholders to determine requirements.Ability to research solutions to development issues when the answer is not clear.Ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications     

Active secret clearance.Knowledge of Python and R.Knowledge of/background in basic statistical analysis methods.Prior experience in a business systems analyst role supporting Department of Defense programs.

Pay Range:Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
