Microsoft Red Team Technical Program Manager II

The Microsoft Red Team’s Intelligence team provides data and insight to discover, assess, and track potential security and privacy risks exploitable by malicious actors, including Microsoft Red Team breach operators. Our team is looking for a Technical Program Manager II to own the product roadmap for our internal attack path management tool which protects Microsoft and our customers. You will work closely with our internal customers to understand and prioritize features based on the current threat landscape, gather their feedback to improve the product, and communicate new features to stakeholders. As a product owner, you will evangelize the use of the security graph and help our customers make the most out of our product. In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. \#MicrosoftRedTeam #MicrosoftRedTeamIntelligence **Responsibilities** • Manage the team’s work backlog, triage new feature requests, and monitor project status • Monitor engineering performance to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce toil • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scenarios, objectives, and deliverables • Collaborate with Microsoft Red Team to ensure successful breach operations • Conduct user research to inform product decisions and strategies • Evangelize the product and help build a vibrant user base • Communicate project status and innovations to stakeholders, partners, and customers **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience. **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience in product management • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High attention to detail • Ability to distill complex technical problems to a digestible format for a broad audience • Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem and building Azure services • Previous work on security tools and processes • Familiarity with Kubernetes, graph databases, data analytics Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
