We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Teams Voice Solution Architect to lead the design, planning, and migration of bank locations from a legacy PBX system to Microsoft Teams. This role will play a critical part in modernizing communication infrastructure, ensuring seamless transitions, and delivering cutting-edge voice solutions that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
o Develop comprehensive Microsoft Teams voice architecture tailored to meet the unique requirements of a large-scale banking environment.
o Ensure solutions comply with financial industry regulations and security protocols.
o Define and document call flows, voice policies, and dial plans to support efficient operations.
o Lead the planning and execution of migrating bank locations from legacy PBX systems to Microsoft Teams Voice.
o Design migration schedules that minimize disruption to banking operations.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure readiness, including network assessments and end-user training.
o Partner with IT leadership, network teams, and end-user groups to align voice solutions with business objectives.
o Serve as a liaison between technical teams and executive stakeholders, communicating project progress and resolving escalations.
o Configure and manage Direct Routing, SBCs, and integration with third-party systems where necessary.
o Oversee deployment of Teams-certified devices and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure.
o Conduct troubleshooting and optimization to ensure high-quality voice performance.
o Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design guides, migration plans, and operational playbooks.
o Provide training to IT support teams and end-users on new voice systems.
o Evaluate post-migration performance to identify areas for improvement.
o Stay updated on Microsoft Teams advancements to recommend future enhancements.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Microsoft Teams Solution Architect or similar role, with expertise in voice and telephony solutions.
* Strong understanding of legacy PBX systems and experience with migrations to Microsoft Teams.
* Proficiency in Direct Routing, SBC configuration, and Teams voice capabilities.
* Knowledge of banking industry compliance requirements related to communication systems.
* Familiarity with networking concepts, including QoS, SIP, and WAN optimization.
* Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
* Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer Expert or similar, are a plus.
