Job DescriptionLead Integration Efforts of Command and Control or similar systems (data exchange and processing)Address and detect issues that impact projects and implement/develop courses of action (COAs) to mitigate or alleviate the impact to projectsPrepare and brief technical presentations at informal and formal meetingsWrite technical white papers, memorandums and reportsContribute to the development of new principles and concepts to enhance mission operationsPerform DoD compatible system engineering lifecycle processesSupport critical operations during standard and non-standard working hoursSupport the project management team by performing technical planning, including cost, risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems following a defined system design lifecycle process (concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal)Develop and execute risk mitigation plans and management of risks on projectsAct as a liaison to internal and external stakeholdersExperience with system integration of large systems requiredExperience coordinating efforts across multiple teams with conflicting prioritiesUnderstanding of the requirements analysis process and system design; experience with tools such as DOORS.Support critical operations during standard and when necessary, non-standard working hoursAbility to travel (10%)

Qualifications

This position will be in Dahlgren, VA. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting on a new 10 year contract effort.

REQUIREMENTS 6+ years with a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university Active DoD Secret Clearance required; Top Secret/SCI desired.
