**Auto Mechanics needed ASAP** We are seeking to fill two positions within our growing team! If you’re an experienced Mid-Level Auto Mechanic (Class B) looking to advance your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Join us in maintaining a fleet of vehicles in and around the Chicago area. **Location: S. Kostner Avenue, Chicago (K-Town/North Lawndale) area** **Shift: 1st Shift, Guaranteed 40+ hours per week** **Salary: $24 to $29+ per hour (based on experience)** Responsibilities: + Perform routine maintenance, including PMs, quick lubes, and basic repairs. + Inspect and repair vehicle parts and systems. Document repairs and communicate with the Service Manager. + Conduct advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Troubleshoot complex vehicle systems and components. + Lead and provide technical support to other team members. Stay current on repair procedures using manuals and service bulletins. Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience as an Auto Mechanic in a fast-paced environment. + Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a willingness to learn. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Experience with hybrids and EVs is a plus, but not required. Skills: + Diagnose and repair common vehicle issues (brakes, suspension, electrical, engine problems). + Use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting. Read and interpret repair manuals and schematics. + Perform intermediate repairs (water pumps, alternators, fuel injectors, timing belts). Work independently on preventative maintenance (oil changes, fluid flushes, tune-ups).
