Mid-Level Central Plant Operator – Night Shift

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-Level Central Plant Operator to support our night shift business in Chantilly, VA. This organization supports critical government programs.

Successful candidates will maintain, monitor, adjust, test, fix and repair Central Plant related equipment. Related equipment is, but not limited to, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air distribution equipment and gas fired hot water heaters.  There will be a 6-month training and Certification process once onboard that you will need to complete with no less than 80% satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

Monitor central plant equipment via building management systemsFix and repair mechanical, electrical and life safety systems by interpreting schematics and blueprintsPerform equipment rounds to ensure equipment is operating and designed efficiencyUse hand and power tools used to make repairs and adjustments to this equipmentUse energy management systems, in particular Staefa brand EMCS/BMSWork with power distribution systems from both commercial and back-up power generation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Ability to obtain an adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph post-startBasic Computer experience and competencyGeneral mechanical/electrical equipment knowledge

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Active Top Secret /SCI with Counterintelligence or Full Scope polygraph Experience using FMCS systems; Siemens, SCADA, Trane TracerExperience with UPS power systemsExperience with Power Distribution or Backup Generator equipmentStationary Engineered Licensed, Journeyman or Master Licensed in Mechanical or Electrical TradesAn active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $73,100 - $98,900
