MID-LEVEL CORPORATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

 

Our client, a prestigious Southeastern law firm, is seeking a talented Corporate Associate Attorney to join their team in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with international experience to work on complex corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A, in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

 

Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in North Carolina. 3–5 years of substantive experience in corporate and commercial transactions. Experience handling commercial contracts, including supply agreements, technology contracts, and distributor agreements. Background in corporate structuring, governance, and M&A. International experience and foreign language proficiency, particularly in German, are preferred. Excellent writing skills are required.

 

Key Responsibilities: Advise (primarily) international clients, on corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A. Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, sales representative and distributor agreements. Handle UCC transactions and corporate formation and governance matters. Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex business transactions. Stay current on legal developments affecting corporate and commercial law.
